Pixies At Lollapalooza

The Pixies will be headlining Lollapalooza in Chicago July 23 and 24th at Grant Park. Tickets go on sale soon. Other acts confirmed to appear are Weezer, The Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie, Billy Idol, The Killers, Dinosaur Jr. and more.

Lollapalooza 2005 will be produced by Capital Sports & Entertainment and Charles Attal Presents -- the brain trust behind the successful Austin City Limits festival

More Summer Tour Dates

Pixies have announced new plans for a US tour.

On the year anniversary of the band?Äôs reunion on a Minneapolis stage, the four-piece have announced plans for another Stateside jaunt.

The group will kick off their tour next month in Portland, Oregon (May 26). At several of the Pixies new dates, they will do both a matinee and an evening show.

Though they?Äôll miss Coachella, the festival they headlined last year, the band will make stops at Atlanta?Äôs Midtown Music Festival, Sasquatch in Washington and the CMJ Rock Hall Music Festival in Cleveland, Ohio.

More dates are expected to be soon.
